Dubai's skyline is one of the most dramatic on Earth, a desert city that built its way into the clouds in less than three decades. These towers define the city's relentless ambition and remain among the most photographed structures in the world.

Top 10 Tallest Buildings in Dubai in 2026
At 828 metres and 163 floors, the Burj Khalifa has held the world record for tallest building since 2010 and shows no sign of being dethroned by anything outside Jeddah. The views from the 148th-floor observation deck span from the Hajar Mountains to the Persian Gulf on a clear morning.

Set to claim the title of world's tallest residential tower when complete, Ciel rises 365 metres with 1,042 serviced apartments and a rooftop sky garden that puts neighbouring towers to shame. Its slender silhouette on Dubai Marina's waterfront already defines the new skyline.

Standing 425 metres on the Dubai Marina shoreline, Marina 101 is the tallest skyscraper in Dubai outside the Downtown cluster and one of the world's highest residential towers. Its needle-thin profile appears to glow bronze at golden hour from Jumeirah Beach.

For years the world's tallest residential building, Princess Tower's 414-metre frame still dominates Dubai Marina's western approach and houses over 763 apartments with unobstructed sea views from the upper floors.

Rising 360 metres in the Jumeirah Lakes Towers cluster, Almas Tower houses the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre and is the nerve centre of the UAE's precious metals and diamond trading industry, a skyscraper with genuine commercial purpose beyond aesthetics.

The 355-metre Emirates Office Tower was the first supertall to alter Dubai's skyline at the turn of the millennium and remains architecturally significant for its distinctive triangular footprint and wind-defying chamfered corners.

Though not the tallest at 321 metres, the Burj Al Arab is the most globally recognised structure in the UAE, its billowing sail form rising from an artificial island and redefining what a luxury hotel could look like.
These twin 355-metre towers in Business Bay briefly held the record for the world's tallest hotel and still host some of Dubai's most spectacular ballrooms, with the Prime68 restaurant commanding floor-to-ceiling panoramas from the 68th floor.

The 323-metre Index Tower in Dubai International Financial Centre is celebrated for its I-shaped cutout facade that creates dramatic shadow patterns at different times of day, a rare example of genuine architectural ambition amid Dubai's height arms race.
