Top 10 Apple Music — Top Albums (US) — August 12, 2026

Ariana Grande's eighth studio album, "petal," has blossomed into a major success, debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album garnered an impressive 295,000 equivalent album units in its first week, marking her biggest sales week by units in the 2020s. "petal" also achieved 168,000 pure album sales, securing her second-largest sales week to date. This performance significantly outpaces the projected 85,000 units for this week's sales of "petal" on Hits Daily Double. The album’s success was bolstered by its availability across numerous formats, including more than 10 different digital and streaming versions and 10 vinyl variants, with vinyl sales alone reaching 96,000 units—a career high for Grande.

KAROL G's "NO ME ARREPIENTO DE SENTIR TANTO" is a powerful statement, capturing the third spot on this week's chart. The album has already debuted at No. 1 on Spotify's US and Global Top Albums Debut Charts, showcasing its immediate impact. This marks a significant achievement for the Colombian superstar, who has consistently delivered chart-topping Latin music. The album, which features guest appearances from artists like Drake and Bruno Mars, covers a wide range of Latin music styles. While projections from Hits Daily Double indicated a No. 7 debut on the overall album charts with 49,000 units, its strong performance on Apple Music and Spotify demonstrates a dedicated fanbase and critical acclaim.
