Top 10 Trending YouTube Videos in the US — August 7, 2026
Friday, August 7, 2026, got off to a loud start on YouTube—and not just from last night’s high-octane concert clips. In the past 24 hours, a surprise music video from a Grammy-winning pop icon overtook the Trending page, a #DanceFloorChallenge spawned 200,000 Shorts from LA to New York, and a 45-minute creator tell-all broke the platform’s record for fastest to 10 million views. We tracked the algorithm so you don’t have to. This Top 10 ranks today’s most-shared, most-commented, and most-discussed U.S. trending videos—from the must-see premiere to the drama everyone is dissecting.
