Warner Bros.’ 2023 RPG launched with a $80 Deluxe Edition that included an exclusive Dark Arts cosmetic pack, then immediately released a full-price story DLC exclusive to PlayStation, fragmenting the game's content before most players even began. The $10 premium on a cosmetic set is 20% cheaper than Fortnite’s top-tier bundles, but locking a major story expansion behind a separate $40 purchase is more exploitative than any rotating shop, as it directly withholds key narrative content for an inflated price.
