Blade II — Vampires Turning to Ash (2002)

Guillermo del Toro's otherwise entertaining sequel featured vampires that dissolved into CGI rubber dummies upon death. The contrast between the film's excellent practical creature design and its cartoonish digital death effects remains jarring.
