Manta Rays at Koh Bon
Koh Bon's seamount delivers the densest manta ray aggregation in the Andaman Sea, with up to 30 individual rays circling a cleaning station during peak season from February to May. Reef mantas here weigh up to 1,400 kilograms and feed on plankton filtered through cavernous mouths that measure half a meter wide, a visceral experience that rivals the famed Maldives cleanup stations.
