New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and Las Vegas do the heavy lifting on the city side, while the national park system adds another 15 million visits a year on its own. One structural weakness worth noting: more than a third of arrivals come from Canada and Mexico, meaning the country's tourism numbers lean more heavily on its immediate neighbors than most of the countries above it on this list.
