Glastonbury Festival

Founded in 1970 by farmer Michael Eavis in Pilton, Somerset, UK, Glastonbury hosts 210,000 attendees annually across 900 acres of farmland. Every major artist from David Bowie to Beyonce has graced its stages. In 2023 alone the festival raised over 2 million pounds for charities, making it a cultural institution as much as a music event.
