Fuji Rock Festival

Founded in 1997 in Naeba, Japan, Fuji Rock is Japan's largest outdoor music event drawing 100,000 annual attendees. Named after its first catastrophic location at the foot of Mount Fuji during a typhoon, the festival relocated and became a model of eco-conscious festival management, with strict recycling policies and environmental initiatives.
