Apo Reef Natural Park, Philippines

Apo Reef Natural Park is the largest contiguous coral system in the Philippines, covering 34 square kilometers in the Mindoro Strait. Despite limited tourism infrastructure, it supports an extraordinary density of marine life, with visibility often exceeding 30 meters. It outperforms #9 Wakatobi in sheer size by 12 square kilometers, yet its coral diversity is only half, a trade-off between area and biodiversity.
