Shoal Bay offers a 3.2-kilometre crescent of talcum-powder white sand with water visibility over 25 metres, formed from exceptionally fine crushed coral that stays cool underfoot even at midday. Its offshore reef hosts over 200 coral species and is among the Caribbean’s most accessible dive sites, reachable directly from the beach. While Shoal Bay’s beauty rivals Eagle Beach (#2), its reef system provides a richer snorkelling experience—featuring 30% more coral diversity than the typical shore reef—yet both fall short of Grace Bay’s (#1) consistent calmness and 23-kilometre expansive shoreline.
