Shoal Bay on Anguilla's north coast is a 3.2-kilometre crescent of talcum-powder white sand with water visibility exceeding 25 metres, consistently ranked by travel publications as one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. The sand is composed of exceptionally fine crushed coral that remains cool underfoot even in midday heat. The offshore Shoal Bay reef system hosts over 200 species of coral and is one of the Caribbean's most accessible dive sites, reachable directly from the beach.
