Teluk Intan, Perak

A small river town in southern Perak famous for its leaning clock tower — built in 1885, deliberately inclined due to foundation subsidence, and maintained at its picturesque angle ever since — Teluk Intan also preserves a remarkable collection of Chinese clan houses, colonial shopfronts, and the floating market on the Perak River that has served the town since the 19th century.
