Ooty
Ooty stands out for its remarkably temperate climate, with summer temperatures averaging 20°C, a full 5°C cooler than nearby Coimbatore. Its Nilgiri Mountain Railway, a UNESCO site since 2005, carries 1 million passengers over a 46-kilometer track annually, making it one of the most popular railway routes in the country.
