Mount Kitahotaka

Mount Kitahotaka is listed at 3,106 m at the north end of the Hotaka range. It lies on the Nagano–Gifu border in Chubu-Sangaku National Park. English Wikipedia gives the same height and calls it the second-highest Hotaka peak, at the northern end of the range. Takidani, on the west face, is described as a well-known rocky area, and Kitahotaka Hut stands near the summit. North of Kitahotaka, the ridge drops and rises at Daikiretto before continuing over Mount Minami and Mount Obami toward Mount Yari. The wider Hotaka group is in Chubu-Sangaku National Park.
