The Aguascalientes Festival de Calaveras ranks as the largest organized Día de Muertos festival in Mexico, spanning ten days with a grand floral ofrenda competition, costume parades, sugar skull contests, and a massive Catrina parade. It honors José Guadalupe Posada, whose Catrina illustration became the universal symbol of the holiday.
