Northeast China Tiger & Leopard National Park

Northeast China Tiger & Leopard National Park has achieved a 45% increase in Amur tiger sightings since 2020, outperforming #2 Giant Panda National Park in predator recovery rate. The park spans 14,600 km² along the Sino-Russian border, where camera traps documented 35 tigers and 50 leopards in 2023. This transboundary sanctuary is 2.1 times larger than the separate Xixi National Wetland Park, ensuring enough prey habitat.
