All-wheel drive ATTESA E-TS and Super-HICAS steering embarrassed Porsches and Ferraris on track, clocking 7:46 at the Nurburgring in 1999. Never officially sold in the US, it became forbidden fruit, smuggled in as gray-market imports. Paul Walker's R34 in 2 Fast 2 Furious cemented its pop culture status, but the car's 0.98g skidpad grip truly defined its legend.
