Microsoft Copilot+ PC Platform

Microsoft's Copilot+ PC platform, introduced in 2024 and expanded broadly in 2025, brought on-device AI inference to Windows personal computers via a dedicated Neural Processing Unit. Features including Recall, real-time live captions in any language, and AI-powered photo editing became standard on any Copilot+-certified device. By end of 2025, over 50 million Copilot+ PCs had shipped, fundamentally changing the Windows computing experience.
