Tulsa King stars Sylvester Stallone as a New York mafia capo freshly released from prison and exiled by his own family to build a new criminal operation from scratch in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Created by Taylor Sheridan, the fish-out-of-water premise gives Stallone one of his most purely enjoyable roles in years, playing the culture clash between old-school mob code and modern Oklahoma for both comedy and genuine drama. It was a breakout hit for Paramount+ and helped extend Sheridan's run of successful crime and Western dramas on the platform.
