Serengeti National Park delivers the world's greatest wildlife spectacle: the annual migration of 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebra across 14,763 sq km of Tanzanian savannah. This park, a UNESCO site since 1981, supports Africa's densest large carnivore population, including 3,000 lions and over 500 bird species. Its migration event is 30% larger than that of #3, Amazon National Park, in terms of animal biomass moved annually.
