Chef's Table

David Gelb followed Jiro Dreams of Sushi with a Netflix series that gives each episode to a single chef, shot with slow motion, shallow focus and classical music where a food programme would normally use narration. The first season opened on Massimo Bottura of Osteria Francescana and included Niki Nakayama of n/naka; the format has since extended to spin-offs on pastry, pizza, barbecue and noodles.
