Los Glaciares National Park

Los Glaciares National Park houses the iconic Perito Moreno Glacier, one of only three advancing glaciers worldwide. The park covers 7,240 square kilometers of pristine Patagonian ice fields, 25% larger than the average national park in southern Argentina. Its Fitz Roy massif stands at 3,405 meters, a challenge for climbers that outperforms Quebrada de Humahuaca's elevation gain. 47 named glaciers drain into Lake Argentino, providing a living laboratory for ice dynamics.
