Top 10 Apple Music — Top Albums (US) — August 14, 2026

Released in June 2026, the album debuted with a staggering 485,000 album-equivalent units, surpassing Drake's 'ICEMAN' (463,000 units) to become the biggest album debut by a solo act in 2026. This impressive figure is 70.6% higher than her second album, 'Guts,' which debuted with 60,272 units in 2023. The album also achieved 218.41 million on-demand audio streams in its first week, making it the largest streaming opening for any 2026 album by a female artist.

This third studio album from Lacy debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard 200 with approximately 33,000 album-equivalent units sold in its first week. While this might seem modest compared to Olivia Rodrigo's massive debut for 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love,' it represents a significant achievement for Lacy, an artist whose success is often measured beyond initial sales. The album, featuring collaborations with SZA and Erykah Badu, is a diverse blend of rock and R&B with electronic elements.

Released on July 10, 2026, the album earned 131,000 album-equivalent units in its first week in the United States. This consisted of 13,000 pure album sales and 118,000 streaming-equivalent albums, generated from 120.29 million on-demand official streams. This performance solidifies Future's position among the artists with the most number-one albums, surpassing Eminem's eleven and trailing only Jay-Z (fourteen), Drake (fifteen), Taylor Swift (fifteen), and The Beatles (nineteen).

This album, part of a historic triple release, debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, moving 114,000 equivalent album units in its first week. This impressive showing contributed to Drake making history as the first artist to simultaneously hold the top three spots on the Billboard 200 chart with 'ICEMAN,' 'HABIBTI,' and 'Maid of Honour.' With this release, Drake now boasts 15 career No. 1 albums, tying with Taylor Swift for the most among solo artists.

Noah Kahan's *The Great Divide: The Last Of The Bugs* stands as a monumental achievement, debuting at number one on the Billboard 200 and earning 389,000 equivalent album units in its first week. This makes it Kahan's strongest weekly performance to date and the biggest week for any 'rock' album since Billboard began measuring consumption through equivalent album units in 2014. The album, released on April 24, 2026, also boasts the biggest streaming week of 2026 for any album, alongside the largest vinyl sales week for a rock album in the modern era, with 118,000 vinyl copies sold. Critics have widely praised the record, with *Rolling Stone* awarding it 4.5 out of 5 stars and *NPR Music* noting Kahan's evolution into an "unabashedly literary songwriter elite." This critical and commercial success significantly outperforms the typical debut of folk-pop albums, cementing Kahan's status as a dominant force in contemporary music.

Rylo Rodriguez's *S.K.A.T.E.*, an acronym for "Silence Keeps All Targets Exposed," demonstrates the Alabama rapper's continued growth, securing a top 20 debut on the Billboard 200 by landing at number 13. Released on July 3, 2026, the 23-track project delves into themes of loyalty, betrayal, and personal growth, building on the melodic street storytelling that defines his style. The album achieved a notable first-week performance, selling approximately 36,000 to 37,000 units, marking the biggest debut of his career and outperforming his previous album, *Been One*, which sold 35,000 units. While some critics, like *Culture Referee*, rated it 26/50 and questioned if it felt more like a playlist than a cohesive album due to its length, others, such as *Architeg Prints*, praised its "soulful beats and casual technique." This mixed reception positions *S.K.A.T.E.* as a solid, albeit debated, entry into the street rap genre.
