Pokemon Center Mega Tokyo on the 6th floor of Sunshine City in Ikebukuro is the largest of Pokemon's 20 flagship retail stores in Japan, selling exclusive merchandise, limited-edition plush toys, trading card packs, and character collaborations unavailable outside Japan. Entry is entirely free and the store is open daily 10 AM-8 PM. TripAdvisor reviewers note that the exclusive Pokemon Center item stamping station (free) allows children to personalise packaging, and the adjacent Pokemon Cafe (reservation required, from 2,000 JPY per person including a themed meal) extends the experience into dining. Limited-edition regional-exclusive Pokemon cards sell for 550-800 JPY per pack and are among the most popular Japan souvenirs for Hong Kong children. Arrive at opening time on weekdays to avoid queues.
