Tanglang Mountain & Zhongshan Park (塘朗山郊野公园)

Tanglang Mountain Country Park (塘朗山郊野公园) is a 12,130-hectare subtropical forest reserve on the western edge of Shenzhen between Nanshan and Futian Districts, with 30+ km of marked hiking trails ranging from easy nature walks to demanding ridgeline routes. The summit offers panoramic views across the entire Shenzhen skyline, Hong Kong's New Territories, and the Pearl River. At the mountain's eastern base, Zhongshan Park has a famous sakura grove that blooms in January-February — one of the most spectacular cherry blossom displays in southern China. Entry is free. Xiaohongshu users rate the sakura garden 4.9/5 and warn to "arrive by 7am in bloom season or the crowds are impenetrable." Metro Line 5 to Tanglang station.
