Sacred Heart Canossian School
Sacred Heart Canossian School is a government-aided, bilingual Catholic primary school for girls on Caine Road in the Central and Western District, sponsored by the Daughters of Charity of the Canossian Institute. Founded in 1860, it is one of Hong Kong's oldest Canossian schools and charges no tuition fee. The school teaches in Chinese, including Putonghua, and English, and runs 30 classes across Primary 1 to 6 (five per grade) with a staff of 59 teachers against 56 approved posts. Graduates feed into the affiliated Sacred Heart Canossian College, though the two schools do not operate a guaranteed through-train arrangement.
