Maryknoll Convent School (Primary Section)

Maryknoll Convent School (Primary Section) is a government-aided, English-medium Catholic primary school in Kowloon City, sponsored by the Maryknoll Convent School Foundation. It traces its founding to 11 February 1925, when Mary Paul began teaching 12 students in the Convent Parlour at 103 Austin Road; its purpose-built Primary Section building, completed in 1937, was declared a monument in 2008. The school charges no tuition fee, runs 30 classes across Primary 1 to 6 (five per grade), and holds a 07:55-to-14:50 school day. All subjects are taught in English except Chinese Language, Chinese History and Mandarin. Fifty-nine percent of its teaching staff have ten or more years of experience, and graduates feed into the affiliated Maryknoll Convent School (Secondary Section).
