Shing Mun Country Park

Shing Mun Country Park offers the best mix of accessible nature and family-friendly amenities in the New Territories, with well-marked trails leading to the serene Shing Mun Reservoir. Its 7-kilometre main trail loop takes only 2-3 hours, making it easier than the longer hikes at Tseung Kwan O Waterfront Park. The park features picnic areas, barbecue spots, a nature education centre, and the Pineapple Dam area with basic playground equipment and clean toilets, all free to enter via bus from Tsuen Wan MTR.
