The Umeda Sky Building Floating Garden offers one of Japan's best illuminated cityscapes, with 360-degree unobstructed views from a glass-floored observation ring atop two towers connected at the 40th floor. Admission at 1,500 JPY per adult and 700 JPY for children (approx. 75-35 HKD) is 40% more expensive than #8 Shinsekai's Tsutenkaku Tower view, but TripAdvisor reviewers consistently rank the night view higher. The glass escalators rising between towers create a memorable experience for children. On clear days, Kyoto is visible. The underground Takimi-koji retro dining street replicates 1920s Osaka with excellent kushikatsu and okonomiyaki, providing a complete family outing.
