The Momofuku Ando Instant Ramen Museum in Ikeda (20 minutes from central Osaka) celebrates the inventor of instant noodles at the original factory site where Nissin Foods was born in 1958. The highlight is the My Cup Noodles Factory where visitors design their own cup packaging (500 JPY) and select from 4 soup bases and 12 toppings to create a personalised cup to take home β the most satisfying souvenir activity in Japan for children according to TripAdvisor community votes. General museum admission is free. The Chicken Ramen Factory lets visitors knead and dry their own instant noodles from scratch (500 JPY for adults, 300 JPY for children) through a 90-minute workshop with advance booking required.
