The Guangdong Science Center (广东科学中心) in Xiaogui Hill is one of the largest science museums in the world by floor area, with 9 permanent themed halls covering energy, information technology, human health, earth science, and children's interactive play. A dedicated Children's Science Centre with soft-play zones for under-6s and STEM discovery labs for ages 6-14 make it outstanding for family visits. Entry is CNY 60 adults / CNY 30 children (approx. HKD 65/32); IMAX theatre is separate. Mafengwo users describe it as "three or four times the size of Hong Kong Science Museum" with more hands-on exhibits. Allow 4-6 hours. Metro Line 7 to Guangdong Science Center station.
