The Chen Clan Ancestral Hall (陈家祠) is the best single introduction to Cantonese architectural culture in the Greater Bay Area, completed in 1894 and featuring 19 buildings with intricate roof ridge sculptures and ceramic friezes. Admission is CNY 30 per adult, 50% cheaper than typical regional museums. Children under 1.2m enter free. Allow 1.5-2 hours to explore this national protected monument, directly connected to Chen Clan Ancestral Hall Metro station.
