Plover Cove Reservoir & Bride's Pool

Plover Cove Reservoir in the northeastern New Territories offers a stunning lakeside cycling trail (16km return) along the reservoir dam, with the nearby Bride's Pool Nature Trail leading to a beautiful cascade waterfall through old-growth forest. The easy waterfall walk (1.5km) is manageable for children aged 3 and up in a carrier, which is 30% shorter than the circular hike on Tap Mun (Grass Island), making it more accessible for younger kids.
