Peng Chau Island

Peng Chau is Hong Kong's least-visited major outlying island, offering a quietly charming escape with traditional temples, small beaches, a hilltop view point (30-minute walk), and a handful of excellent seafood restaurants and old-school tea houses. The compact size (1 hour to explore fully) makes it ideal for families with young children or for combining with a Lantau trip, and its shorter exploration time compared to Plover Cove Reservoir & Bride's Pool makes it a quicker alternative. Ferry from Central Pier 6; 35 minutes, HKD 24 adult, which is 20% less expensive than the ferry to Lamma Island.
