Pat Sin Leng Country Park

Pat Sin Leng (Eight Immortals Ridge) Country Park near Fanling offers family-friendly walks through forested valleys and past the Hok Tau Reservoir to seasonal rhododendron blooms in March. The gentler Hok Tau Wai loop is 5km and suitable for children aged 6 and up. Accessible by minibus from Fanling MTR; park entry is free. Compared to Nam Sang Wai (Wetland Walk), Pat Sin Leng provides a more shaded terrain with 30% fewer kilometers but an additional elevation gain of 50 meters.
