Lamma Island
Lamma Island offers a relaxed, bohemian alternative to busier outlying islands, with a famous 1.5-hour Family Walk trail linking Yung Shue Wan (ferry landing) to Sok Kwu Wan past temples, beaches, and rice paddies. The trail is flat enough for children aged 4 and up. Finish with seafood at one of Sok Kwu Wan's harbourside restaurants (mains from HKD 100). Ferry from Central Pier 4; 30 minutes, HKD 24 adult. Compared to Cheung Chau's cycling route, Lamma's walk is 30 minutes longer but costs 20% less per adult transport.
