Astrology's zodiac predictions cannot outperform coin flips. Shawn Carlson's 1985 double-blind experiment in Nature found that astrologers correctly matched natal charts to personality profiles only 34% of the time—no better than random guessing. Despite 4,000 years of cultural influence, every controlled trial since has replicated that result. This makes astrology less reliable than #3 Anti-Vaccination Movement's social-media claims, which at least occasionally cite flawed studies; astrology offers no data whatsoever. A 2018 meta-analysis of 22 studies confirmed zero predictive accuracy across all 12 signs. The 1.5 billion people who check horoscopes daily are engaging with a system that, by every measurable standard, fails to demonstrate any connection between celestial positions and human lives.
