Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water — Limp Bizkit (2000)
The title alone guarantees infamy, but the cover's grim brown color palette makes this one of the worst-designed albums of the nu-metal era. The image, a close-up of the band's logo against a muddy, almost fecal background, lacks any visual focus or artistry. It fails even as a joke: it sits below the cheapest stock photo. The juvenile branding, anchored by a title that forced retailers to place it behind counters, proves that no amount of marketing can salvage a cover that looks like a printer error.
