Alphabet (Google)

Alphabet's core is still Google Search, which holds roughly 90% of global search traffic and funds everything else in the group. Google Cloud is now its fastest-growing large segment and YouTube its second advertising engine. Its research arm holds a rare credential: Demis Hassabis and John Jumper of Google DeepMind shared the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for AlphaFold's protein-structure prediction.
