Epic Games
Epic Games makes Fortnite and licenses Unreal Engine, which is now used well beyond games for film and television virtual production. It is privately held, with Tencent owning a large minority stake since 2012, and it sued both Apple and Google over app store rules — losing most of its case against Apple in 2021 and winning a jury verdict against Google in 2023.
