Anthropic

Anthropic was founded in 2021 by a group who left OpenAI, among them the siblings Dario and Daniela Amodei, and builds the Claude family of models. Its stated approach pairs safety research with commercial deployment; Constitutional AI, its best-known method, trains a model against a written set of principles rather than relying only on human preference labels. Amazon and Google are both substantial investors.
