The Museum of the Future is the most-photographed new structure in the UAE since its 2022 opening, its torus-shaped facade inscribed with a calligraphic quote from Sheikh Mohammed in gold on stainless steel. The building comprises 7,000 square metres of exhibition space across seven floors, and over 1 million visitors entered its immersive galleries in 2023 alone. Its outer skin features 1,024 individually engineered Arabic calligraphy panels, making it 30% lighter than the average skyscraper cladding system and benchmarked as the most distinctive building skin worldwide. The museum outperforms #5 Burj Al Arab in architectural innovation awards, winning three major prizes to the hotel's one.
