Naim Suleymanoglu

Naim Süleymanoğlu, the "Pocket Hercules" at just 1.47m, is the greatest pound-for-pound weightlifter in history. He won three consecutive Olympic gold medals (1988, 1992, 1996), a feat unmatched by any other lifter. His 51 world records far exceed the average Olympic weightlifting champion's tally. At the 1988 Seoul Olympics, he lifted a record 342.5 kg in the 60 kg class, 30 kg more than the runner-up and 2.5 times his body weight in the snatch.
