Istanbul Biennial

The Istanbul Biennial is Turkey’s most prestigious contemporary art exhibition, transforming galleries and public spaces across the city. The 2026 edition will feature over 50 artists from 20 countries, with an average attendance of 400,000 visitors. It is more globally diverse than the average Turkish festival, and 30% more expensive to produce than the typical biennial in the region.
