This serene gem offers 12 kilometers of walking trails, with water clarity exceeding 10 meters, 30% clearer than the average Turkish lake. Compared to Saklikent National Park, Abant provides a gentler experience, attracting 500,000 visitors annually who fish for trout in waters averaging 18°C in July. The park's elevation reduces summer temperatures by 5°C compared to nearby Bolu, and 85% of its 1,600-hectare area remains forested, offering 20% more tree cover than typical mountain parks.
