Aladaglar National Park
Aladaglar National Park offers some of Turkey's most accessible high‑altitude hiking, with a network of trails circling seven glacial lakes at an average elevation of 2,300 meters. Covering 55,000 hectares, the park features dramatic granite peaks rising over 3,700 meters. The park is 15% closer to major cities than the Kackar range, making it ideal for weekend trekkers. Hikers can traverse alpine meadows, cross crystal‑clear streams, and summit peaks like Demirkazik (3,756 m) without the extreme remoteness of higher‑altitude parks.
