Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque stands as the third largest mosque globally and a pinnacle of modern Islamic architecture. Its 82 domes, 1,000 columns, and the world's largest hand-knotted carpet (covering 5,627 square metres) are illuminated by 24-carat gold chandeliers, including one weighing 12 tonnes. Entry remains free, and non-Muslims are welcomed during designated hours, making it more accessible than #2 Louvre Abu Dhabi's paid admission.
