Tanjung Rhu Beach

Tanjung Rhu Beach stands as Langkawi's most beautiful beach, a three-kilometre arc of fine white sand on the deserted northern coast backed by casuarina trees. At low tide, the sand bar extends 500 metres to allow a walk to the adjacent island, while the water's turquoise clarity offers visibility up to 10 metres. The complete absence of development ensures a tranquil escape that surpasses the busier Pantai Cenang in serenity.
