The Dubai Frame

The Dubai Frame delivers the city's most literal — and thrilling — architectural metaphor. At 150 metres tall, this golden picture frame in Zabeel Park offers a sky bridge with a glass floor that separates Old Dubai's low-rise heritage from New Dubai's soaring towers. The glass floor itself is a data point: it is 25 metres long and provides a vertigo-inducing view straight down. Each side reveals a different Dubai, and the contrast is immediate and visceral. Visitors spend an average of 45 minutes here, longer than at comparable lookout points.
