Tlaquepaque Arts Village

The suburban municipality of Tlaquepaque has evolved from a ceramics-producing village into the finest artisan shopping destination in Mexico, with galleries and workshops selling blown glass, Talavera pottery, carved furniture, and textile work along its pedestrianized colonial streets. El Parian — an 18th-century outdoor cantina arcade where mariachi bands perform continuously — is the most authentic mariachi cultural venue in Mexico.
